Six Random Things

Nealy tagged me and asked me to post 6 random things about myself. Let's see...

1. When I drive around town, I am constantly thinking about the shortest and most efficient way of getting from point A to point B, so much so, that I have to tell myself to stop thinking about it b/c I drive myself crazy!

2. I love to read fiction, but struggle to get through a non-fiction book. I think I have a short attention span and need to be entertained to stay focused.

3. I'm pretty scared and nervous around water. Not sure why. I even hate to watch someone drowning on TV or a movie and afterwards realize that I've been holding my breath and am super tense.

4. I changed my major a TON in college and finally landed on Ancient History. I couldn't come up with anything more useful, I guess. And...I loved my major, though I find few people to discuss this topic with. So if you ever feel like discussing the impact that Ancient Greek culture and philosophy influenced the Roman Empire, you have an audience with me!

5. I have somewhat of an obsession with figuring out how people are connected and where they are from. Chances are, if you told me who you know someone and where you or they are from, I will remember it for years to come.

6. I love to cook and try new recipes, however, I have a roommate who is a way better cook than I and is much more creative, so I rarely cook anymore.
